Our Story

Well, I’m sure you’re asking yourself; “What’s with the weird name?”

It started like this:

Throughout my life I’ve had an interest in monsters and old folklore stories. As I began my roasting adventure the hardest part was thinking of a name. I wanted it to be different and a bit obscure such as myself. So, as I was aimlessly daydreaming in my office looking at my 1960’s poster of Frankenstein and old horror books of Algernon Blackwood, it finally appeared in my head “Spooky Brew!” It dawned on me that throughout history and even in my lifetime so many stories have been told around a cozy fire with a warm cup of coffee or tea. I want Spooky Brew to help people remember the stories once told by their family members or even ones they have read and to keep that history alive (spooky or not!) So, next time you make yourself a cup of Witch Hunt Sumatra or Moonlight Howl tea grab a great story and get lost for awhile. Although just making it for the sake of caffeine is entirely acceptable. Either way I hope you enjoy our products and if you are not satisfied please let us know so we can correct the issue.
